Natural Deodorant for Sensitive Skin

Above is the two ingredients I have finally found to work for my super sensitive underarm skin...

Here is my embarrassing story. In Middle School, I suffered from excessive perspiration, and had to use prescription deodorants which dried out and irritated my skin. After this cleared up since stopped having such crazy hormones, I switched back to regular, super cheap store brand deodorant, and never had an issue for years.

But, this last year, I believe I developed an allergy to Aluminum...This has to be the only answer since I tried making sure the irritation wasn't from any other source. I wasted tons of $$$ of different brands of deodorant, and they would itch like crazy all day. It happened suddenly, and I don't have any idea why, but once I stopped conventional deodorant, the itching stopped. The first solution was making my own deodorant, http://www.fortheloveoffoodblog.com/2012/05/diy-deodorant.html. This recipe worked well for awhile, and many others have had success with it, but I found I was allergic to the cornstarch after developing swollen underarm glands which stopped swelling when I stopped this homemade product. So finally, I came to solution I use currently.

In the morning, I just spray each arm with Crystal Body Deodorant Spray. This product does not work alone for me, I just use it as an adhesive for a light coating of baking soda, which absorbs odor and wetness.

This solution works all day for me, and is super cheap, and all natural. So, I hope anyone who is frustrated with regular deodorant, or who can't use other homemade solutions can find success with this method.

How to Make Apple Cider Vinegar Not Taste Like Nastiness

I've recently started taking 2 teaspoons of apple cider vinegar for the various health benefits, mostly for the promise of clear, acne free skin. So far it's been clearing my skin up, and gives it a glow, which is a nice side effect. But, when I was taking it before, it was painful to drink. I tried mixing it with water alone, and there was too much of an acidic feeling when I drank it, and a nasty taste. So, after doing some research, I started mixing my 2 teaspoons of acv with some other ingredients to mask and enhance this beneficial supplement.

- 1 large glass of water
-1/2 teaspoon honey
-1/2 teaspoon cane sugar
-1 cup apple juice

The acv is also The Bragg organic brand, because the "mother" is needed in the acv in order for it to have the healthy effects on your body.
